About

'Data and Doctor Doom' is a book, zine, live musical and podcast, all based on MJ Hibbett's research into Doctor Doom as a transmedia character. You can find details of the podcast, live performances, the original research, media appearances and how to get the book and zine elsewhere on this site.

MJ Hibbett has performed live on Radio One, had a Record Of The Year in Rolling Stone, an Album Of The Day on 6Music and released one of the first ever viral videos. He's played over a thousand gigs around the UK and Europe and written and performed in multiple Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows. He's co-presenter of The Funny Comics Fan Club with comedian John Dredge, author of the best (and only) empirical analysis of Doctor Doom during The Marvel Age and during the week is head of research information systems at University of the Arts London.

He likes to keep busy.

If you want to get in touch the easiest way is to send an email to mj@dataanddoctordoom.com or send a message via Bluesky. You can also sign up for his monthly (ish) newsletter.
