Research

'Data and Doctor Doom' is based on MJ Hibbett's PhD thesis, which is available to request from UAL Research Online, the research outputs repository for University of the Arts London.

All data gathered for this project is available to download open access via the University of the Arts London data repository. As well as the main Doctor Doom dataset (with brief explanation of how it was collected) it also contains comparison data on Dennis The Menace (both versions) and responses to the initial fan survey to see what fans thought Doom's characteristics were.

Over the course of the PhD a process blog was kept, which includes reviews of every single one of the 266 texts included in the main corpus.

You can find details of all of the publications and other activities associated with the project on MJ Hibbett's research page at UAL.
