In-lawful Impediments
A cross-generational comedy drama about the conflict between a conservatively minded young couple, the single parents who brought them up, the hippy grandparents who helped, and the sprawling pseudo-families that have grown around them.
Francesca and Dean are two teenagers in love. They want to get married but Francesca's dad Peter and Dean's mum Karen disagree, not wanting their kids to make the same mistakes that they did. Each episode sees the two extended families go through one of the big events building up to a wedding, crashing and colliding into on another, creating new tensions, new relationships, and maybe even new love.
