GIGS WE'VE DONE

I had a lovely time at Ray's birthday do at the start of the month, then got a bit OVER excited about Comics at the Pop-Art All-Dayer next afternoon. Apart from that, I've had the week off getting ready for the HUGE amount of gigs about to occur!

RECORDS

The solo album she is FINISHED! It's called "A Million Ukeleles", and has twelve songs featuring guest artists INCLUDING The Validators, Mr Phil Wilson, Mr Pete Green, Mr Charlie Flowers, Mr George Gargan, The Names On My Guest List, and our CAT! Officially it's going to be a Digital Download, released on October 22nd, but I'm also hand making 200 copies - I must say i am RATHER enjoying making them too, the colouring in, stickering, rubber stamping, paper slicing and STAPLING takes me back to when I used to make CASSETTES to hand out, AND it is a good excuse to sit in front of the telly for hours! About 100 of these will be available to BUY from the webpage, and I'll send out an email mid-month to let you know how to get hold of them, should you wish to. I don't want to influence you in any way, but i WOULD just say this: It's GRATE!

OTHER THINGS

I've just received a big bag full of BADGES to go with the albums, and we should soon be getting new "A Million Ukeleles" T-SHIRTS - these ALSO will be available from the online shop, as well as in person when I go on the UKELELE TOUR with Mr Pete Green at the end of the month. Yes, i am VERY EXCITED about it!

I'm also going to try and get a few more songs up on my video channel, at http://uk.youtube.com/mjhibbett, in the run-up to the album release. I put a new version of "Programming Is A Poetry For Our Time" up the other day, and there should me more up soon.

And that's about the lot for this time - do please check the website (http://www.mjhibbett.net) for updates as the month progresses and hopefully see you back here next time for more!

Cheers,

Mark
